ANN ARBOR, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – University of Michigan head basketball coach Juwan Howard says despite reports, he is not looking for an NBA job.
According to ESPN, NBA teams are interested in Howard. He played in the league for 19 seasons and was an assistant coach with the Miami Heat before taking over the Wolverines’ bench.
In a statement on social media Howard said while he is flattered, he is not exploring, seeking or listening in regards to other coaching jobs.
In his first year, he led U of M to a 19-and-12 record before the season was cut short due to Covid-19 in March.
