SPRINGFIELD, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — An investigation is underway after a fight led to shots fired outside a gas station near Battle Creek.
Calhoun County Sheriff’s deputies say the altercation occurred just after 8 p.m. Thursday near the intersection of West Van Buren Street and Michigan Avenue in Springfield.
Witnesses say two groups got out of their vehicles at the gas station, started fighting, and then at one point, shots were fired.
The suspects fled before officers arrived and there were no reports of injuries.
