PORTAGE, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — The city of Portage is following up on a resolution that the City Council adopted earlier this year related to hate crimes. They’re asking residents to play a role in establishing a safe community by reporting any acts of hate and discrimination they witness in the city to police officials.
In the resolution adopted in April, city leaders said it is their duty to promote respect and inclusion for people of all races and national origins. On Thursday, Portage city officials also released a video called “Hate Has No Home Here” which can be viewed by CLICKING HERE
