OSHTEMO TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Several people were shot Friday night at a large party in Kalamazoo County and authorities are continuing to try to identify a suspect.
Sheriff’s deputies responded to The Birches Banquet Center in the 3000 block of South 9th Street in Oshtemo Township just before midnight. Officials said multiple people were struck by bullets and taken to the hospital with various injuries, some severe.
The motive of the shootings as well as any information about a suspect is not available.
