BOWLING GREEN, OH (WKZO AM/FM) – The Western Michigan University football team begins a series of midweek games on the road at Bowling Green tonight.
This is the 18th “MACtion” game under head coach Tim Lester, who has a 9-8 record so far. Last season the Broncos went 2-2 in midweek games and 3-0 in the COVID-19 shortened 2020 season that started with midweek games.
WMU also hosts Northern Illinois next Wednesday and then makes the trip to Mount Pleasant for the Battle for the Cannon at Central Michigan November 16.
Tonight’s game is a 7:00 p.m. kickoff, with coverage on the Bronco Radio Network beginning at 6:00 p.m.
