KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Parents who may have been reluctant to take the kids out to this year’s Holiday Parade because of last Friday’s blizzard on November 18 will get another chance to ignite their Christmas Spirit tonight.
The City will hold their annual Tree Lighting Ceremony in Bronson Park, tonight, Friday, November 25.
Mayor Dave Anderson says there will be a lot of things going on, including the Commission’s annual reading of “Twas the Night Before Christmas”
There will be musical performers, live reindeer, hot chocolate, food vendors, a Grinch Tent and an Elfie Station among other attractions.
The Tree Lighting event gets underway at 5 p.m. and will run through 7. They will flip the switch on all the lights in the park at about 6 p.m.
