KALAMAZOO MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Ascension Borgess has been awarded a prestigious designation by a national organization.
The health care provider has earned a “Baby Friendly” designation by Baby-Friendly USA, which is responsible for awarding the honor.
A spokesperson for the organization stated that Ascension Borgess has met the “highest standards of care for breastfeeding mothers and their babies.”
Ascension Borgess Hospital joins a growing list of more than 20,000 Baby-Friendly hospitals and birth centers around the world, 602 of which are in the United States.
