PORTAGE, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — The City of Portage Spring Curbside Collections will begin with the Spring Cleanup Program on Monday, March 27.
The 2023 Spring Cleanup Program, which includes the collection of household clutter and unwanted household materials, will run from Monday, March 27 to Thursday, April 27. Items should be bundled or boxed in parcels of 50 pounds or less. Residents are reminded to separate trash and metal at the curb. View portagemi.gov/283 for complete details and a collection map.
The 2023 Spring Brush and Bagged Leaf Collection will run from Monday, May 1 to Friday, May 26 and begin in Zone 1 (northwest quadrant). Residents are reminded that materials may not be collected on Monday; however, each zone will be cleared of materials by the end of the designated week. The City of Portage Compost Facility (10905 Oakland Drive) will also be open for residents to drop off brush and bagged leaves on Saturday, May 27 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
