PORTAGE, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A start of a utility installation project closed a portion of Oakland Drive in Portage on Monday, July 17.
According to the City of Portage, Oakland Drive from West Osterhout Avenue to Shaver Road will be closed the rest of this week while workers install new utilities.
City Officials are asking drivers to follow the detour along West Osterhout Avenue to Shaver Road until the work is completed.
Oakland drive is anticipated to reopen to traffic on Friday, July 21.
