KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A survey released last month on June 2 puts the Kalamazoo-Portage area as a great place for college graduates.
SmartAsset, a financial tech company based in New York City, conducted the survey to determine the top cities for college grads.
The result placed the Kalamazoo-Portage region at #3, stating that the number of restaurants and young people in the area played a major role in the ranking.
According to the survey, 7 of the top 10 areas are established college towns, and the majority of the areas listed are located in the Midwest.
The top 3 cities in the survey are Lubbock, TX, Bloomington, IL., and Kalamazoo-Portage.
