MARSHALL, MI (WNWN/WTVB) – Work is beginning this week on the widening of a segment of M-96, otherwise known as Michigan Avenue, west of 15 Mile Road as MDOT is adding a left turn lane.
MDOT is investing $323,000 into the project which is taking place near where the Ford BlueOval Battery Plant is being built.
The work is scheduled to be finished by November 25.
MDOT says drivers should expect a traffic shift and one lane of Michigan Avenue remaining open in each direction.
