BATTLE CREEK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Some Pennfield Township residents were displaced after their apartment complex caught fire on Friday, May 21st.
Responders were called to Baily Park Apartments just before 9 p.m. and witnessed flames showing from the roof as residents were still trying to get out.
Firefighters quickly extinguished the flames and made sure all residents exited safely.
Authorities say the fire appears to have started on a second floor balcony, but that an investigation still needed to be completed.
