Battle Creek VA Medical Center amending Urgent Care hours

BATTLE CREEK MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Battle Creek VA Medical Center is set to discontinue its overnight hours for Urgent Care beginning October 1^st.

A spokesperson for the facility said that the move isn’t due to lack of staffing or funds, but rather because there is not a lot of usage during that time period.

In addition, most patients who require care at that time are sent to other facilities in the area for additional treatment.

Beginning next Friday, the Urgent Care will be open 7 am to 7 pm Monday – Friday, and 8 am to 5 pm on Saturday and Sunday.
