PAW PAW MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Michigan State Police are continuing to investigate an accident Saturday night that claimed the life of a Kalamazoo man.
Troopers responded to the report of a rollover accident on Fish Hatchery Rd. near M-43 in Almena Township at around 10 pm.
Upon investigation, authorities found a 2006 Toyota had left the road, gone down an embankment, rolled over, and struck several trees.
The driver, 23 year old Treyson Fink of Kalamazoo, suffered fatal injuries in the mishap, and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Fink was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident, and it’s not known if alcohol and/or drugs were a factor.
Troopers were assisted at the scene by Van Buren County Sheriff deputies, Paw Paw Fire personnel, and Pride Care EMS.
