BATTLE CREEK, MI (WNWN/WTVB) – The identify of a pedestrian who was critically injured Saturday night when he was struck by a vehicle on Columbia Avenue near South 31st Street is still unknown and Battle Creek Police are trying to find out his name.
The Battle Creek Enquirer reports the injured man is at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo with a head injury.
They report the man was trying to cross the street when he was struck by a vehicle driven by a 68-year-old man from Galesburg.
The driver told police he didn’t see the man and a witness said the pedestrian ran into the side of the vehicle.
