KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety Officers answered a rather unusual call on Thursday, May 5, but nonetheless, were still glad to answer it.
Officers were called to Conant Avenue after a concerned citizen found an owl that had gotten stuck between two fences.
With a helping hand from the Michigan Department of natural Resources, they were able to gently free the owl before turning it over to a DNR officer, who then took the owl to a rehabilitation worker who specializes in owls.
