LANSING, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Senator Kim LaSata announced the endorsement of former Michigan Governor John Engler (1991-2003) in her run for re-election in Michigan’s 17th Senate District.
In a statement, the former Governor said, “I support the re-election of Senator Kim LaSata. Her strong record in the Michigan Senate is impressive. We need to
keep her common-sense conservative voice in Lansing so she can keep working hard for us on issues that matter to Michigan families.”
In her statement, LaSata said “I appreciate Governor Engler’s endorsement of my hard work and character. I accept and thank Governor Engler for his endorsement, ” said LaSata.
The 17th senate district consists of portions of Berrien, Calhoun, Hillsdale, and Jackson Counties and all of Branch, Cass, and Saint Joseph Counties.
