PORTAGE, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Calling all farmers market vendors. Organizers of the 2023 Portage Farmers Market are putting out the call now for vendors interested in being a part of this year’s event to put in their applications for the season.
Portage City Officials say the market will begin operating every Sunday, starting May, and boasts an average attendance of nearly 30,000 people per year.
They go onto say for those wanting to get in on the action have until April 28 to get their application in.
Vendor spaces measure 10 x 10 feet. Each vendor is required to provide a tent, table, signage/banner, and tent weights (at least 50 pounds per tent leg).
The market stall fee for the season is $325 or a daily rate of $20.
