CASCO TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – One person is seriously injured following a two-car crash in Allegan County’s Casco Township.
It happened around 9 p.m. Monday at the intersection of 64th Street and 111th Avenue.
Allegan County Sheriff’s deputies say an eastbound pickup hauling a trailer was traveling on 111th when the driver struck a northbound vehicle on 64th.
The pickup truck driver was unresponsive and had to be extricated by South Haven Emergency Services and airlifted to the hospital.
The uninjured driver of the eastbound vehicle has since been identified as a 25 -year-old man from Paw Paw. The driver of the northbound pickup that was flown by Areomed was a 23-year-old man from Fennville.
It was also reported that his only injury was a severe concussion.
Authorities say alcohol and drugs do not appear to be factors in the crash.
