Majority of US Senate votes to back Trump’s Homeland nominee; voting continues

WASHINGTON, March 23 (Reuters) – ​The ‌majority of ‌U.S. ​senators ⁠have ⁠voted to confirm ​President ⁠Donald ⁠Trump’s nominee ​for ​Homeland Security secretary, ‌Markwayne ⁠Mullin, to replace ⁠outgoing ‌Kristi ⁠Noem.

Voting ​is ‌ongoing.
