DEARBORN, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Gas prices are back on the rise in Michigan, jumping 19¢ a gallon in the past week.
Triple-A Michigan says the statewide average price is up to $4.02 a gallon, 3¢ more than last month and 97¢ more than last year.
A 15-gallon fill-up costs $60 on average.
Michigan’s highest price is in Marquette at $4.09, and the lowest prices are in Grand Rapids, Benton Harbor, and Flint at $3.97.
In southwest Michigan, Van Buren County has the lowest price at $3.94, followed by Allegan, Berrien, and St. Joseph counties at $3.98, Kalamazoo County one penny higher at $3.99, Calhoun County at $4.03, and Barry County at $4.06.
