KALAMAZOO TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Kalamazoo Township will have a new and modern township campus in two years.
Groundbreaking was held Thursday on what’s called the Community Campus that will be on 17 acres.
The facility will be the home of the township police, backup 9-1-1 dispatchers and various community service offices. Leaders say they hope it will be a community meeting point as well.
The township’s current office facility was built in the 1970s and Supervisor David Combs says often times, rain and snow get into the building because it’s “just at the end of its life.”
