VICKSBURG, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The field has been narrowed down to four finalists for the Vicksburg Village Manager position.
Village officials will interview the four September 1, after trimming down the field from 24 applicants. All four come from southwest Michigan, and are Brandon Mersman, City Manager, City of Bronson; Amy Cordes, Village Manager, Village of Lawerence; Christopher Tapper, former Village Manager, Village of Decatur; and Erik Wilson, former City Manager, City of Wayland.
Current Vicksburg Village Manager Jim Mallery, who has been in that position since January 2016, has announced he will retire at the end of December 2026.
The Village of Vicksburg, located in Kalamazoo County, has a population around 4,000.
