KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A boy is recovering after Kalamazoo Public Safety says he was shot around 7 p.m. Monday at Candlewyck Apartments.
Officers responded to the scene at the intersection of Kilgore Road and Burdick Street on the border with Portage.
The victim is expected to survive, but his condition has not been released.
He was treated at the scene by EMS.
Officers have not said how old he is.
