BATTLE CREEK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A 16-year-old Battle Creek boy is in the Calhoun County Youth Center after being arrested for allegedly robbing a DoorDash delivery driver early Wednesday morning in Springfield.
The driver was delivering an order when they were robbed.
The suspect was arrested in the 100 block of Freedom Lane in Battle Creek around 12:15 p.m. Wednesday without any incident.
He was identified through tips received from the public, and several items of evidence were collected at the scene of his arrest.
The investigation remains ongoing.
