KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Two teenagers are in police custody after leading Kalamazoo Public Safety officers on a short foot chase Monday night.
The 15 and 16-year-old boys were arrested for illegally possessing firearms.
Police say they threw the guns when they were running through a backyard on William Street after they made contact with the two around 6:15 p.m.
The guns were collected by officers and the teens are in the Kalamazoo County Juvenile Home.
