PORTAGE, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A 17-year-old Kalamazoo boy is recovering after he was shot in one of his legs early Saturday morning at a party in Portage.
Public Safety officers in Portage say they were called to Bronson Methodist Hospital around 4:45 a.m. for the shooting.
The boy told them he was at a party at an unknown location “believed to be in Portage” when he heard a “pop” and realized he had been shot.
No suspects have been identified.
