PENNFIELD TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – One person is hospitalized after being shot and injured in Pennfield Township near Battle Creek.
The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office says the shooting happened around 1:45 p.m. Monday on East Coolidge Avenue near Oakwood Street.
The victim was shot in one of their legs, and deputies seized the gun that is believed to have been used.
A suspect was also arrested.
No names have been released.
