DEARBORN, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Drivers in Michigan are paying 27¢ less per gallon to fill their tanks than last week.
Triple-A Michigan says the statewide average is now at $4.38 a gallon, 20¢ less than last month and $1.28 more than last year.
A 15-gallon tank of gas on average costs $66 in the state.
Michigan’s highest price is in Traverse City at $4.48, and Flint has the lowest average price at $4.15 a gallon.
In southwest Michigan, Allegan County has the lowest average price at $4.32, followed by St. Joseph County at $4.33, Calhoun County at $4.34, Berrien County at $4.38, Cass County at $4.40, Kalamazoo County at $4.44, Van Buren County at $4.47, and Barry County at $4.48.
