WAVERLY TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Paw Paw firefighters found a woman dead inside a burning home in Waverly Township Thursday morning.
The Van Buren County Sheriff’s Office says dispatch received a report of the house fire shortly before 6 a.m. near 36th Avenue and 36th Street.
A tree branch fell on an electrical line, starting the fire that burned the home and is believed to have caused the woman’s death.
Her identity has not been released and authorities don’t believe there was any foul play involved.
