Battle Creek’s Field of Flight runs through Sunday

BATTLE CREEK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Field of Flight is being held now in Battle Creek, with thousands of people expected to attend despite the dangerous heat wave.

Hot air balloons, air shows and fireworks will delight the crowds that have gathered in the Cereal City for nearly five decades for the event.

Executive director Barbara Haluszka says they normally draw between 130,000 and 140,000 to the Field of Flight every year.
