PORTAGE, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A century of stories, experiences, and wisdom will be celebrated later this month, as the Portage Zhang Senior Center will host its annual Centenarian Brunch.
The event Thursday, July 23 at 11:00 a.m. will recognize Kalamazoo County residents who are celebrating, or have already surpassed, their 100th birthday in 2026.
The Senio Center says more than 100 centenarians currently call Kalamazoo County home.
To register for the event, call the center at (269) 329-4555. Each centenarian may bring two guests to attend at no cost.
The event is sponsored by Friends of the Portage Zhang Senior Center, Area Agency on Aging 3A, and Aetna.
