DEARBORN, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – It is 12¢ more expensive per gallon to fill the gas tank in the state than last week.
AAA Michigan says the average price statewide is now at $4.27, up 19¢ from last month and a $1.13 more than last year.
Ann Arbor and Jackson have the highest price in the state at $4.33, while Marquette in the Upper Peninsula has the lowest price at $4.05.
A 15-gallon tank of gas in Michigan costs $64 on average.
In southwest Michigan, the lowest price is in St. Joseph County at $4.10.
That’s followed by Berrien and Calhoun counties at $4.24, Allegan County at $4.26, Cass and Van Buren counties at $4.27, Kalamazoo County at $4.31, and Barry County continues to be the most expensive at $4.37.
