KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A Kalamazoo jury has convicted 34-year-old Tiffany Moore of felony murder, second-degree murder and first-degree child abuse in the death of 15-month-old Jermany Coleman in October 2023.
Moore was caring for the toddler when she died at a hospital from multiple blunt force injuries and the baby’s mother found her unresponsive at home on Michigamme Woods.
Bronson Children’s Hospital child abuse pediatrician Sarah Brown testified in the trial that the child’s eyelids were so swollen, she was unable to see more than her pupils and the CT scan showed the girl’s brain was severely swollen.
Moore will be sentenced October 30th.
